Home Design Inspiration From Around the World
Home décor filled with captivating soft and natural hues, inspired by travels around the world. In every place we visit, we discover unique shapes or colors that inspire our designs. In my visual language, these elements blend seamlessly with design, plants, and nature, while also incorporating my own original patterns. New designs emerge from the fusion of various elements. Global home décor inspiration in 2026 is shifting from "visual presentation" to emotional healing and personalized expression, with core trends focusing on natural integration, a retro revival, and rule-breaking eclecticism.

Greece
Iconic Blue and White Interiors Influenced by Ancient History
Greece's identity is deeply rooted in history and mythology – and these aspects naturally and subtly appear in their interior design brands. Characterized by intricately sculpted busts, columns, and curved features, all reminiscent of ancient Greek architecture.
Of course, we can't forget the classic blue and white color scheme! But for a more authentic Greek feel, try mixing greens and reds (inspired by local flora and fauna) with natural materials like wood, stone, and microcement.

Minimalist Refinement with Traditional Elements
Unlike the luxurious residences depicted in K-dramas, Korean homes tend towards a minimalist, understated aesthetic. However, they retain a distinctive character thanks to the prevalence of natural materials and local crafts (think handcrafted wooden furniture and stone carvings).
As a return to a rich tradition, many Korean homes also feature subtle traditional elements. Consider the frames of a Hanok (traditional Korean house) and the green or white ceramics typical of the Joseon Dynasty
France
Timeless Parisian Chic
As depicted in "Emily of Paris," the interior design of this international metropolis retains a classic style with a touch of warm comfort, thus forming its unique brand of "casual elegance."
Like most European themes, Parisian chic decor includes exquisite wall coverings, ornate mirrors, and a wealth of artwork. However, what sets this elegant style apart is the use of clean lines and neutral colors that draw attention to the decor without overwhelming the overall look.
Morocco
Colorful Luxury with Patterns
Bold, colorful, and luxurious – that's Moroccan interior style. This style blends Moorish (North African) and Mediterranean European influences, manifested through extensive use of Moorish elements, vibrant colors, and luxurious materials.
While its Islamic roots mean a limited selection of artwork, this doesn't imply a lack of ornamentation. Instead, Moroccans tend to use stained glass lamps, mashrabiya panels, and zellige tiles (ceramic tiles with intricate carvings) to personalize their homes.

A Balance of Hollywood Glamour and Practicality
Hollywood is glamorous, luxurious, and dramatic, all of which are naturally reflected in the aptly named “Hollywood Glamour” interior design style.
While inspired by the decadence and opulence of Hollywood's Golden Age, it is neither cluttered nor overwhelming. Instead, you can think of it as a blend of medieval modern and Art Deco elements, where jewel-toned accents, glossy materials, and luxurious fabrics are combined with clean lines and vintage embellishments.

Bali Style Closely Connected to Nature
Imagine Bali, and you might think of luxurious wooden villas by the sea, surrounded by lush vegetation and wild greenery.
These landscapes are precisely the inspiration for Bali interior design. Compared to other styles on this list, this style has a closer connection to nature, so don't just stick to wood finishes – feel free to use materials like rattan, bamboo, and wicker.
While we can't be on vacation in Bali all the time, luckily resort-style furniture is readily available online, so you can enjoy the resort atmosphere at home 24/7. As a finishing touch, be sure to stick to earthy tones and soft fabrics to add a relaxed feel to the space.

British
“Rusty Chic”
A Pair of Weathered Furniture and Floral Decor There are farmhouse and country themes… and there’s “Rusty Chic” – a more rustic, more extravagant version of both.
This distinctive style originates from 1980s Britain, featuring antique, weathered furniture, blending floral patterns, soft tones, and natural elements to create a truly minimalist chic. But don't be fooled by its exaggerated nature, as the seemingly chaotic elements are carefully designed to create the beauty of a country cottage.
